I really learned something with I interviewed Dr Diaz for the recent segment I did on Summer Health Tips.

Dr Diaz explained the details of when you should have concern about a tick bite. Try to view this segment, if you can, at

I didn't realize that concerns only begin after the tick is engorged with blood, which usually takes about 24-48 hours. But you should see Dr Diaz's interview, or read more about tick bites at www.aap.org (American Academy of Pediatrics).
